Globalization amounts to four radical changes in the world system. These are (1) the destabilisation of and removal of sovereignty from Western nation states, (2) the establishment of an essentially fascist world government under the direct control of the capitalist elite, (3) the greatly accelerated exploitation and suppression of the third-world, and (4) the gradual downgrading of Western living conditions toward third-world standards. By these means, elites hope to achieve yet another round of capital growth.  During most of the decade of the 1990s globalization proceeded almost unnoticed by the world’s population. The World Trade Organization (WTO) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) began to establish their tentacles of power without publicity. Government leaders worldwide, under the pressure of capitalist elites, were quietly signing their sovereignty over to the new global institutions. When globalization was mentioned at all in the media, it was described in propaganda terms as sharing ‘progress’ with the downtrodden of the world.  And then in December 1999 the people of the world began to wake up. The demonstrations in Seattle marked the beginning of a new global movement. In fairness, one must acknowledge that there were earlier signs of the movement in Europe and the third world. But only when the movement reached the USA did it become ‘real’ in the eyes of the world. And ever since Seattle the movement has been growing by leaps and bounds on a global scale.”- War On Terror The Police State Agenda Richard K Moore

It was interesting watching the looks on the faces of the mostly white crowds that flocked to the theater that screened Michael Moore’s new documentary Fahrenheit 911. Most were in a mild shock as if what they just saw on the big screen un-nerved and disturbed them. For me the film wasn’t that revealing; yes there were scenes and segments that were very informative but for the most part I was well aware of the shenanigans of the Bush cabal. Michael Moore despite the film’s title did not really address the events of 9-11. He did in a way re-enforced the current party line, “anti-AmeriKKKan Arabs” were responsible for the terrorist attacks on AmeriKKKa. He does point out that the war in Afghanistan was about natural gas and oil pipelines and he shows Bush and CO invaded Iraq based on a lie. If you really want a different spin on 9-11 the who and why of what happened I suggest you purchase a copy of the documentary Aftermath, Unanswered Questions From 9-11 which was produced by the Guerilla News  Network, one of the Internet’s more courageous and thought provoking Websites. It is obvious to most thinking persons 9-11 was but one of a long line of events used by the capitalist oligarchy to pursue its own narrow minded imperialist agenda. Michael Moore points out in his film no Afghani citizens were 9-11 high-jackers just as subsequent investigations reveal no North Vietnam ships fired on the US Maddox in the Gulf of Tonkin in August of 1964,yet 9-11 was used as a pretext to bomb Afghanistan back into the stone age. While no one in their right mind would suggest 9-11 did not happen, 9-11 was used just like the fictitious attacks on US ships in the Gulf of Tonkin to launch a ill advised, disastrous global war on, not another country but the idea of terrorism!? Unlike the Vietnam War in which President Lyndon B. Johnson attempted to do everything: keep his Great Society Programs afloat, escalate and wage a protracted war in Indo-China, Bush and Co. made up their minds before they took office they are going to reward their supporters in the energy, defense, munitions, telecommunications and health care industries and the hell with the rest of us! But, something had to give. In Johnson’s case his whole agenda came unraveled, his popularity pummeled, inflation soured, he got his Great Society and Civil Rights packages through but the costs of the war undermined their implementation as he was forced to rachet up the police state ala COINTELPRO to curtail the bourgeoning anti-war and black power/liberation movements. Bush and Co. did a pre-emptive strike on dissent, only the Democratic Congressional leadership and a few media types received anthrax letters, but most AmeriKKKans don’t know the White House staff coincidentally was taking Cipro the antidote for that particular strain of anthrax a full month before the anthrax even appeared?!!  Bush and his corporate media lapdogs portrayed anyone unwilling to indiscriminately to shed blood as soft, Un-AmeriKKKan or unpatriotic. When Bush decided to unilaterally and pre-emptively invade Iraq millions protested around the world but he sicced the dogs of war anyway.

Meanwhile the country was going through a protracted recession, experiencing record defaults, lay-offs, unemployment was high, AmeriKKKan jobs were being out-sourced overseas all the while Bush and Congress were running up the red ink consigning future generation to the burden of governmental debt service and fiscal uncertainty. To keep abreast of the consumer culture, the spend spend mind set,  more and more people are going into personal debt placing them in a precarious situation. Between taxes 9despite Bush’s tax cuts for the rich) and debt most AmeriKKKans are working more and keeping less and less of their hard earned pay. Thanks to the Reagan era policies that George W. Bush is emulating the income gap between the rich and the rest of AmeriKKKa is widening every day. But this too is part of a diabolical agenda, to deliberately drive AmeriKKKans into debt bondage, economic serfdom by undermining organized labor, siphoning off manufacturing, tech and telecommunication jobs overseas, fostering a low wage service oriented domestic  economy, exploiting third world economies by privatizing their resources based on the globalization raw materials, low wages, consumer model, allowing the AmeriKKKan wealth gap to widen and the AmeriKKKan standard of living to ebb and by keeping this nation in perpetual war. 9-11 was part and parcel to this agenda. It was the justification for the global war on terrorism and perpetual war. On the home front the Central Bank just announced it will raise the prime interest rate, which will adversely impact consumers already battling high credit card and loan debts. Keep in mind this has been done under bipartisan co-operation and approval by the Republican and Democratic millionaires in the US Senate and the totally compromised Congress. Unless there is increased awareness, leading to massive resistence, protests and real regime change in AmeriKKKa, this nation will slip over the abyss into fascism that will make Mussolini and Hitler blush with envy.
