“Goss introduced his legislation, H.R. 4584, on June 16—before the September 11 commission issued its own recommendations for the creation of a national intelligence director as well as a new National Counterterrorism Center that would conduct “joint operational planning” of counterterrorism operations involving both the FBI inside the United States and the CIA abroad. The congressional official familiar with the Goss bill pointed to that proposal as a recognition of the increasingly fuzzy lines between foreign intelligence operations and domestic law enforcement. The proposal comes at a time when the Pentagon is also seeking new powers to conduct intelligence operations inside the United States. Last night I watch a replay of the day’s earlier Senate Confirmation Hearings of Florida Congressman Porter Goss as Bush’s nominee to replace George Tenet as CIA Director. Civil libertarians are alarmed by Goss’ nomination because Goss introduced legislation on June 16 that would make it legal for the CIA to conduct clandestine operations inside the US. When the CIA was created in 1947 the legislation that created it prohibited the new agency from domestic operations and gave it no domestic jurisdiction. What is more unsettling is Goss himself is a former CIA clandestine operative and has been the head of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence for eight years. A closer look at Goss is cause for even more alarm. Goss is a graduate of Yale (1960) who upon graduation entered the US Army as an intelligence officer thus keeping a long tradition of Yale grads as spooks alive. Goss later switched to the CIA keeping the Yale cause and effect relationship between business, government and war alive (it was Yale graduate Wall Street lawyers who formed the CIA). It has not been determined but I wouldn’t be surprised if Porter Goss wasn’t a member of the Skull and Bones fraternity which also boasts John Forbes Kerry and George W Bush as members. Goss served as Congressman for the 14th Congressional District of Florida for sixteen years. He served as head of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. If you are a conspiracy buff, consider this: Porter Goss is a Republican congressman from Florida (the state pivotal in Bush’s theft of the 2000 election) he is a former CIA operative with an extremely close relationship with both Bush and Dick Cheney who helped orchestrate a move by Republicans to waive the rules allowing Goss to remain as Intelligence Committee Chairman beyond the normal six years, Goss also played an influential role in the Joint Congressional Report on 9-11, deflecting any culpability away from the Bush administration and at one time Goss’s counterpart on the Senate Intelligence Committee was former Democratic Senator Bob Graham, also from Florida! The Florida connection guaranteed the Bush Junta had friends in key positions so 9-11 could be pulled off and a thorough cover up would be aided and supported.
When we begin to connect the dots the fact that on June 16 of this year Goss who had never introduced any legislation pertaining to intelligence before introduced H.R. 4584 a bill legalizing domestic clandestine operations by the CIA against US citizens, is cause for great concern. Keep in mind, the CIA has conducted covert operations domestically (Operation CHAOS during the Vietnam era to spy on and disrupt the anti-war movement, this is one reason Kerry’s opposition to the Vietnam War are being made an issue in this election, to link dissent with treason) but they were done illegally and without congressional authorization or oversight. While several Democratic senators did raise the issue of domestic CIA operations during the confirmation hearing yesterday and Goss was forced to say publicly he did not favor giving the CIA arrest powers; it is clear the Bush Junta and their New World Order overlords will pursue their plans to create a totalitarian national secret police. The rash of proposals to create a national intelligence director and unified spy apparatus are clear indications the NWO plan to create a police state is in high gear. To facilitate the NWO agenda Goss was part of the cover up of the 9-11 debacle. A Fox News reported on August 10, 2004, “Along with fellow Floridian, Democratic Sen. Bob Graham, then the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Goss led a joint congressional inquiry into the attacks, which identified numerous miscalculations that prevented authorities from derailing the attacks.” Notice the cunning use of the word “miscalculations” as opposed to saying it was treason or deliberate intervention by top Bush administration officials that allowed 9-11 to happen. As the Bush administration schemes to steal another election, they are recruiting weasels to help them spy and prey on the US hen house.
