Psychological Operations/Warfare In Beheading?
“The clue to this, apart from the obvious ones, is that "Philadelphia
businessman" Nick Berg is said to have been a "civilian contractor". Most of the
Israeli assistance to the Coalition Forces in Iraq is in the form of civilian
contractors -- i.e. hired mercenaries, supplied to operate in the fields of
prisoner of war interrogation (Abu Ghraib!), Intelligence, or contract killings.
It is remarkable, is it not, that Berg was captured on April 9, over a month ago
and yet not a word of his capture was breathed in the US media about it until
now, when he has met his savage end. Nor do I recall any reports on the
discovery of his body on Saturday. So: remember -- you read it first here. If he
was a naive and luckless Philadelphia businessman, trapped and mangled by the
Moloch that his bellicose regime have created in Iraq, then truly our hearts go
out to his family; if he was however a hired mercenary engaged on some covert
plain clothes operation, and captured by his enemies and dealt with as a spy,

PSYCHOLOGICAL OPERATIONS: (NATO) Planned psychological activities in peace and
war directed to enemy, friendly, and neutral audiences in order to influence
attitudes and behavior affecting the achievement of political and military
objectives. They include strategic psychological activities, consolidation
psychological operations and battlefield psychological activities.
Maybe it’s my cynical nature when it comes to the games the ruling elites play
and the diabolical techniques they use to manipulate our minds; but the news a
“civilian contractor”from West Chester Pennsylvania named Nick Berg was murdered
by “Islamic terrorists” linked to Al Qaeda being plastered over the Internet and
mainstream media seems mighty fishy. As tragic as any murder is, this one is
turning into a PR bonanza for Bush and Co. Just when the Bush administration was
literally on the ropes, wobbling and staggering from self inflicted blows,
finding themselves in the indefensible position having to admit they’ve known
about prisoner abuses in Iraq and Guantanamo Bay for months, just when there
were bipartisan calls for Rumsfeld’s ouster, just when the AmeriKKKan public was
being roused from its media induced stupor by reports and pictures documenting
wide spread human rights violations following on the heels of photos of hundreds
of flag draped caskets; this happens? Talk about luck, or is it? Hmmm?
The ruling elites are struggling to control the AmeriKKKan people’s minds. Even
before the 2000 election when very few AmeriKKKans took Bush seriously and even
a compromised press portrayed him as the class dunce, a light weight in the
areas of the economy and foreign affairs; the hidden hands were setting the
stage for their agenda. Once Bush was selected by the US Supreme Court most
people assumed Bush’s father and Dick Cheney would be the ones really running
things. Then came 9-11, Bush’s approval rating shot through the roof. 9-11 and
its concomitant media blitz, turned the village idiot and college dope fiend who
still can’t account for his whereabouts when he was supposed to be serving in
the Texas Air National Guard into AmeriKKKa’s Commander in Chief!!? Talk about
mind boggling. Serves us right for acquiescing to the okey-doke. Bush, his
fascist cabal and their corporate media partners stepped up their pys-ops
campaign to dupe the masses in believing Arab religious fanatics living in caves
in Afghanistan plotted and executed 9-11. If anyone dared question the “official
story” they were hooted down, tarred and feathered with the notion they were
soft on security or supported terrorists. As the War on Terrorism escalated and
became the focal point of Bush agenda he became more emboldened. Bush invaded
Iraq under false presences. Saddam Hussein was deposed but then the wheels fell
off of Bush’s Iraqi imperialism wagon, the Iraqi people actually demanded the
AmeriKKKans exit stage left ASAP! The resistence to AmeriKKKan occupation has
stretched US military forces thin necessitating the use of “independent
contractors” better known as mercenaries, or contract killers. These mercenaries
use brutal and ruthless techniques to accomplish their goal: finding and
eliminating the resistence leaders. The US media has made much of the four
contractors who were murdered whose bodies were mutilated and hung from a bridge
outside Fallujah but said nothing about what these contractors were being paid
to do!? Many have speculated they were mercenaries doing the really dirty work
trying to ferret out and kill members of the resistence. There are reports they
were being paid as much as $1,000 a day.
Then CBS 60 Minutes did a piece on the abuse of Iraqi prisoners in just one
Iraqi prison and white AmeriKKKa feigned shock. The pictures jolted them out of
their stupor of denial. Their carefully crafted self image as “good guys” began
to unravel. They were forced to see themselves as the rest of the world sees
them, cold blooded monsters. With threats of more pictures and videos coming,
the ruling elites had to do something to turn the tide. Just when things
couldn’t get much worse for Bush and Co., Nick Berg goes and gets himself
killed!! What an astonishing coincidence! Now the propaganda spin machine is
using Berg’s murder to justify the torture of Iraqis. They will use Berg’s death
to play to the basest emotions of fear, anger and revenge to get their program
of imperialism back on track. Like human beings, the mass media can not focus on
two major issues simultaneously, side by side. One must take center stage and
the other gets assigned the minor role. The Iraqi prison abuse issue is in the
background now. Bush & Co. will undoubtedly work hard to make sure it stays
there! The Berg murder with all its inconsistencies, twists and unanswered
questions (like what was Berg really doing in Iraq and why didn’t US officials
exchange him for detained Iraqis?) will be used to obfuscate and obscure the
vile behavior of US troops, intelligence officers and independent contractors
who are torturing, abusing dehumanizing and killing Iraqis Afghanis; and people
of color all over the world. Don’t be fooled by Bush’s rhetoric, he is happier
than a pig in slop Berg was murdered because it takes some pressure off of him.
Bush or more correctly his handlers will spin this to their advantage. We should
not be shocked at this, nor should you dismiss what I am saying. If Bush and Co
could allow 9-11 to happen and from all the evidence I’ve seen, they did; they,
their buddies in the Mossad or a similar agency could easily kill Nick Berg or
cause another terrorist attack and claim the perpetrators were “Islamic
fanatics” with links to Al Qaeda. If a scenario like this happens, voila,
instant justification for more war, more spending, more deficits, more killing
and more corruption. If there is another terrorist attack close to the election,
Bush can either cancel the elections altogether, or he will manipulate the
situation to his advantage so he wins another term. Either way, it will provide
another opportunity for him to rape, pillage and plunder the planet.
